openbox9 worked with Stanford University to transform the Climate Action Plan (CAP) into a dynamic roadmap, effectively communicating Stanford’s multifaceted strategies to mitigate climate change through a clear and engaging digital experience. Our team focused on integrating complex data into an accessible format that highlights the university’s governance and pillars of action, ensuring that long-term sustainability goals are transparent to the public while serving to educate and inspire the community.

Key features of the project include the implementation of custom graphics and icons that simplify various action topics, along with an editable status bar system to track real-time progress. To ensure a cohesive user journey, we seamlessly integrated the microsite into the broader Sustainable Stanford ecosystem, allowing users to transition effortlessly between the high-level plan and detailed initiative outcomes.
